Metrics Whisperer is the former Huwe Management Consulting company, a firm that spent nearly two decades providing training and consulting to The Boeing Company. Dr. Huwe did her doctoral dissertation on metrics feedback and empathetic listening, driving immediate job performance and employee satisfaction results.

She taught a Metrics Elective MBA course at the University of Washington, and that evolved into the first formal textbook on metrics. She has over 30 years of teaching experience at the University of Washington. Her book Metrics 2.0 features valuable chapters on General Systems Theory, Team-Level Scorecards, and Statistical Analysis. Significantly, she evolved to prefer OKRs systems over scorecard models and discovered how to leverage AI to enhance performance management systems.
